This listing is for commissioning a black and white portrait of any person you choose! Please read through before commissioning for common questions, info, and things to note:

WHAT IS THE PROCESS? To commission a portrait, select the item on the drop down menu that best fits the portrait you would like. The photo gallery has samples of each item to refer to for knowing which category your idea fits into. Select your item and proceed; once your purchase has been made, I will follow up with an email to you verifying your purchase (be sure to include your email in the purchase info!) From here I will ask for reference photos and begin the process. 

WHAT ARE REFERENCE PHOTOS? Reference photos are photos of the person you choose that are used to create your portrait. Please remember; the better the photo is, the more info I have to work with! Please avoid photos taken with flash if possible, and be sure to include photos that are as high-res as possible. 

HOW LONG WILL MY PORTRAIT TAKE? This listing is for black and white portraits; these are a good moderate choice time wise. The processing time for a black and white portrait is 1 - 2 weeks; a portrait with no added detail will be closer to one, full background and added detail will be closer to 2. 

WHAT DO I GET AS A FINISHED PRODUCT? You will receive a high res digital file of the finished portrait for you to utilize and print. If you would like me to handle printing please notify me when discussing the portrait; I can work with a local print shop to create a print for you! Just be aware this includes a minimal processing and shipping fee, which varies depending on the size you would like. 

WHAT DOES THE FEE I AM PAYING INCLUDE? Please know that the fee you are submitting for your portrait is for my full service as a freelance illustrator on your project! You will receive a round of sketches with background or detail ideas if you are including those, and a final digital high-res file. If you are looking for some options for a reduced budget I also have listings for line portraits, and if you want color I have a listing for color portraits. The prices here are based on my experience level, time invested hourly, market rates, etc. 

DOES YOUR PROCESS INCLUDE REVISIONS? I can revise your portrait in the sketch phase if you are adding detail/backgrounds; I will provide a final sketch of the idea you like and we can enact minor revisions before proceeding to final. Once we do reach the final artwork please note that revisions will be subject to a fee, depending on the size/scale of the revision! It's always best to ask for changes during the sketches. I will work with you to get the idea that fits your dream portrait the most :).
